Denna Valraven

It is the pen name under which I bring imaginative worlds to life. I am from Lithuania, a beautiful country by the Baltic Sea. After studying in Norway for a couple of years, I developed a deep interest in Viking culture and it has become a significant influence on my writing.

My pen name, Valraven, draws inspiration from the mythical Valravn, the raven of the slain in Viking folklore. The name embodies the darker tones of my stories and the transformative journeys of my characters. These themes run through all my works. At their heart, my stories are about connection. They explore the friendships that anchor us, the romances that ignite our hearts, and the courage to face both light and shadows within ourselves.

Writing is my passion. It draws me in and never lets go, allowing me to share stories that inspire and bring joy. With my work, I hope to offer readers immersive journeys into magical worlds. I aim to encourage them to delve into their roots, culture, and identity. I also hope to ignite a desire to seek beyond the material world, finding deeper meaning and the courage to forge one’s own path.
